Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) are a subset of tourism that draw huge audiences and are frequently meticulously prepared for in advance. Recently, there has been a trend within the sector to switch to the term "meetings industry" in order to reduce misunderstandings brought on by the acronym. Other business professors suggest referring to the broad category of meetings, events, and occupations as the "events industry."

 Perhaps with the exception of incentives, the majority of MICE's components are well recognized. When a corporation or institution wants to reward its employees for achieving or exceeding their goals or for a job well done, they typically use incentive travel. In contrast to the other sorts of MICE travel, incentive tourism is typically carried out merely for amusement as opposed to business or educational objectives.
